Models differ mainly in forend and stock. A standalone firearm and not a conversion, the SU22 series is based on its big brothers, the SU16 series of rifles, and shares many of their characteristics. Its smooth action combined with intuitive controls also makes it ideal for learning the fundamentals of weapon manipulation and safety. Modular Out of the box, the SU22 offers the same magazine storage stock as the SU16 and a compact forend with Picatinny-style rail as a standard. The stock/grip assembly is compatible with any of the SU16 models. It also comes with adjustable iron sights over a 16″, threaded barrel and a Picatinny style top rail for mounting your favorite optic.
